Playground Training

What is RPII?

The RPII is acknowledged as the independent international accreditation organization for Playground Inspectors and provides accreditation for playground inspectors to the New Zealand, Australian and European Playground Standards. The Royal Society for the prevention of Accidents – ROSPA is the largest safety organization in the world and is a founding member of the RPII. ROSPA is the largest provider of play safety inspection services internationally, inspecting over 13,000 playgrounds a year in the UK alone. Future Landscapes in conjunction with Consulting Co-ordination, (now PlaySafety), has been providing playground training in New Zealand and Australia since 2005 and continues to set the industry standard for compliance and training in both public and private sectors.

Routine Inspection Training

This one day course is aimed at those who are responsible for the visual (daily to weekly) inspections of traditional, natural and nature play playgrounds and those in a routine maintenance role. This one day course is aimed at those who are responsible for undertaking routine (daily/weekly) visual playground inspections. Those completing this course will be eligible to take the RPII Level 1 Playground Inspectors accreditation for Routine Maintenance Inspectors.

Operational Inspection Training

This three day course is aimed at those who are responsible for undertaking operational (monthly to quarterly) playground inspections. Those completing this course will be eligible to take the RPII Level 22 Playground Inspectors accreditation for Operational Maintenance Inspectors.
